Price Mismatch from Amazon.com on the HP EX470

On the HomeServerHacks.com blog, I have advertisement links to thing that you, the reader, will no doubt find useful. Things such as 2 GB memory upgrades and 500 GB hard drive upgrades from NewEgg and a link to the HP EX470 from Amazon.com. I try and watch for the best prices and pass these links on to you.

Well today I noticed that the Amazon.com link on HomeServerHacks.com for the HP EX470 stated that the Best Price was $577.52, yet when I clicked on the link, the price on the web site states $599.

I'm pretty certain that the $577.52 price is an error but hey, $599 is still a pretty good price for a Windows Home Server box with 4 hot swappable SATA drives. In any case, I've sent an email to Amazon.com and will try to get their response. Sorry for the confusion.

Fin. Why not comment on what you've just read or even Digg It!

I bought a 470 Tuesday night at 11:50 for 599.00 and Wednesday morning it was 577. I emailed them and they refunded the difference. I do believe the price is accurate. Keep up the great work!

Here's a good price for Canadians shopping TigerDirect and Canadian's Shopping NCIX.com.

American's, I suppose, would have to stay with NewEgg.com.

I can also confirm that they refunded me the difference. I ordered the previous day and saw that they dropped the price to $577, so I emailed them and they handled it quickly.
That price is/was correct.

At first I thought I was going crazy. I was changing some stuff around in the CSS for this blog and kept hitting refresh. The prices was bouncing around between $599 and $577. I'm glad to know that the $577 price IS real and that Amazon is honoring it. Thx for the comments guys.
