Stuff to pimp your Windows Home Server

Hacking Windows Home Server is a blog dedicated to Microsoft's WHS technology. Brought to you by Donavon West, Microsoft MVP and author of LiveGadgets.net and donavon.com I'll also discuss the Hewlett-Packard HP MediaSmart Server EX470, EX475, EX485, EX487, the T7-HSA Tranquil Harmony Home Server and any other new Home Server hardware platforms that arise. You can also call this hacking or hackz. In any case I will show you some cool things to make your Microsoft Windows Home Server even sweeter.

KPC: Basic Black or now Silver

KPC Looking to build one of the $379 Home Servers but hate the thought of another black box (literally) in your house? The Shuttle KPC (the barebones PC that the $379 WHS is based on) now also comes in silver for the same price.

It’s still not white or red, but unless you want to paint it yourself, then this will have to do for now.

And remember to send me pictures of your build so that I can include them in the DIY gallery.

Fin. Why not comment on what you've just read or even Digg It!

It looks like the K48 is out now too.

Sells for a little more ($129) but has a 5.25" external bay for a CD/DVD-ROM for those that didn't want to install via USB.
