Windows Live released it's "wave 3" code for it's online apps earlier this month. With it they have a rather impressive Facebook-like home page at http://home.live.com. You can share photos, make friends, you know, all of that Facebook stuff.
Part of the functionality of the new Windows Live is the ability to form groups. One such group is for Home Server enthusiasts. If you're into Windows Home Server and Windows Live, stop in to http://homeserver.groups.live.com and request access to the group. As this is a Microsoft property, you will of course need a LiveID. Say the "magic word" and you might just get in. :)

I don't understand why they are moderating the membership. I wouldn't think that they would want to put any restrictions on joining the Windows Home Server community.
@Paul - I hear you but currently Windows Live Groups does NOT have an option for unmoderated membership. I have to go out several times/day, do a select all and grant membership. It's a pain in my back side and I've already complained, um made a feature request to the Windows Live folks.
So for now, you have to request membership and it will be granted.
