1TB Western Digital Drive today only $89

image It's almost getting common place for NewEgg to deal the Western Digital 1 terabyte green drives at $89 (plus free shipping) because they are doing it again today! If you missed it last time, then today, for one day only, you can get the WD 1TB drive (my favorites) for $89. No promo code needed, no limit. This is NOT an April Fools joke!

Thanks fasthair for bringing this to my attention.

*** Update ***

Promo code EMCLPNP36 will get you $5 off or $84! (thx Ghost). Offer still good today.

Fin. Why not comment on what you've just read or even Digg It!

Also keep an eye out at Dell Home - they have fluxuated there between 84 and $88 with free shipping depending on coupon. I have one for $88 on the way. Just wish the 2TB Greens didn't cost $399

@ Ghost... now you've made this deal too sweet to pass up!

@ Kitty... I've been seeing that too. Right now they are out of the Green drive though.

On Tom's Hardware Winter 2008 Hard Drive Guide they recommended this WD10EADS as the best low power hard drive! I ordered mine from newegg for $89.99 and it's scheduled to arrive on Monday. Can't wait to add it to my HP EX485. I also ordered a Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.B from newegg for $79.99 plus there's a $10 mail in rebate which will cut it down to $69.99 for a terabyte! Tom's Hardware recommended the Hitachi 7Kxxxx.B series as the best mainstream / all-round hard drive.
