c|net has reported that that Hewlett-Packard will be enhancing it's Home Server software. Welcome new features will be:
- McAfee server side antivirus protection (free for the first 7 month).
- PacketVideo technology that enhanced video steaming.
- 64-bit Vista support (not sure how this differs from Microsoft's Power Pack 1).
The software update will be available from HP sometime in February.

I ran a manual update through the console yesterday and HP installed a few updates. They weren't specific on what it was, but it wasn't this new stuff!
Oh NOOOO! I DON'T want any McAffe junk on my computer. These people just pollute not solve the problem. I hope that the install has an option to opt-out from this "feature". I'd rather go an pay real money for a real product. This also goes for Norton products.
They better not force us to install that junk.
