Here Come the 2 Terabyte Drives

It's like Western Digital knew that I was working my on 11TB Rack Server and was waiting until I bought all eleven drives.  As reported on We Got Served, Western Digital announces their 2TB Green series drives.

Yea, Kind feel the same way...only I just got the 1.5tb drives. :)
Have you done anything on upgrading the system drive? Is there any reason to? Nothing really stored there? I would think there is somethign going on there because if you loose your system drive you can just pop in a replacment and it rebuilds itself? Just wondering your insights.

@Ryan - Only one 20GB partition of the system drive is used by the system. The rest (the D: partition) is real actual storage just like any other drive. So unless you have folder duplication turned on for all folders, if your sys drive goes down, you may loose something.

yeah but at $300 a pop when a 1.5TB can be had for $120. not worth it for 500gb
